Spatial transcriptomic analysis was performed using the NanoString GeoMx Digital Spatial Profiler to characterize region-specific gene expression patterns in heart tissue sample obtained from mRNA vaccine-associated myocarditis cases. Overall design: Spatial transcriptome profiling was performed to compare gene expression patterns in myocardial regions between mRNA vaccine-associated myocarditis cases and control samples.
