We injected 0.1mM of the hypomethylating agent 5-azacytidine to halves of green, unripen strawberry receptacles. The other halves were injected with water and used as control. Control tissues ripened normally whereas the 5-azacytidine treated tissues remained green and unripen Both tissues were separated with a scalpel, and frozen at -80ºC until use Overall design: RNA-Seq diffenential expression analysis with both type of tissues
