Outcomes and Rate of Recurrence For Sclerosing Techniques In Venous Leg Ulcers: A Evidence-based Review

Venous Leg Ulcers (VLU) account for the vast majority of leg ulcers. VLU may have large impacts on a patient’s quality of life. Sclerotherapy has been reported to be an effective therapy VLU with high success and low ulcer recurrence. The aim of this review is to summarize relevant studies reporting on the outcomes of sclerotherapy for VLU along with recurrence rates following treatments.
