资源简介:

The Employee Benefits Survey provides information on the incidence and provisions of employee benefits. The 1991 Employee Benefits Survey was conducted in medium and large private establishments, that is, estbalishments employing 100 workers or more. Data were collected from over 2,000 establishments and represent 35 million full-time and part-time employees in the United States. The data may be used to produce estimates of the number of employees receiving certain benefits or participating in benefit plans that contain certain features. Estimates of average benefit amounts, such as average medical care deductibles, may also be produced. The data consist of two data files: 1) the survey control data file, and 2) the retirement/insurance plan data file. This particular study contains information on health care benefits, including data on medical, dental, and vision care plans. The survey control file is multi-use, that is, it is the file used for all 18 benefit areas. The plan data file contains information on characteristics, coverage, deductibles, contributions, limitations, and benefits. Note that without the survey control file the plan file refers to number of plans, not number of workers.
