Over-local regional planning Tyrol

According to the Tyrolean Spatial Planning Act, the state government has to adopt spatial planning programmes for an orderly and sustainable spatial development of the country by means of regulations. It provides for certain areas to be kept free from construction for agriculture, landscape or ecology. In other areas, the dedication of special areas for leisure and sports facilities is allowed, in the core zones of central locations the dedication of special areas to shopping centres is possible.
