Effect of naringin in mouse lymph nodes

The induction of CD169-positive macrophages in lymph nodes may be a new therapeutic strategy to enhance cancer immunity in cancer immunotherapy. Naringin, a natural compound, was identified as a CD169 inducer in macrophages. Naringin is a flavonoid glycoside found in citrus fruits, tomatoes, and legumes and has several functional activities, such as anti-oxidative and anti-inflammatory activities. Overall design: Naringin (200 mg/kg per day) was mixed with food and administered daily, and then inguinal lymph nodes were resected.
