We utilized high-throughput sequencing and subsequent signaling pathway analyses to find all the 2 fold change expression of transcripts in comparison of brain microvascular endothelial cells derived from six Sprague Dawley rats without or with irradiation at the dose of 5 Gy or 20 Gy and then cultured for 12 h or 24 h Overall design: The RNA sample libraries containing all the 150 base pairs of rats' brain microvascular endothelial cells without or with irradiation at the dose of 5 Gy or 20 Gy and then cultured for 12 h or 24 h were established and sequenced using the high-throughput Illumina HiSeq 2500 sequencing platform, then mapped to the rat reference genome with HISAT2 (version 2.0.13) , converted to a binary BAM file through samtools (version 1.9) , and assembled into single complete transcripts through StringTie (version 1.3.5) software, following with GO and KEGG pathway enrichment analyses and gene expression pattern analysis.
