Trichoderma harzianum strain:T9 Genome sequencing. Trichoderma harzianum strain:T9
收藏资源简介:
The search for biological alternatives to promote sustainable agriculture and reduce pesticide usage is increasingly critical, particularly under the escalating challenges of climate change. Microorganisms from extreme environments are promising candidates for biocontrol applications due to their unique adaptive traits, developed under harsh conditions such as high temperatures, salinity, and limited water availability. Trichoderma species are renowned biocontrol agents; however, many strains are ineffective in extreme soil conditions, such as high salinity and alkaline pH. In this study, we characterized Trichoderma harzianum T9, an isolate from the alkaline desert soils of Nuevo Leon, Mexico, which exhibits exceptional resilience and biocontrol capabilities against aggressive phytopathogens, including Neopestalotiopsis rosae and Macrophomina tecta.
