Output from AgModel (v.1.0) for experiments on early domestication of cereals.
收藏资源简介:
These are simulation output and related post-processed plots and scripts from an initial series of experiments to explore the impact of human population growth on human-cereal co-evolutionary dynamics in AgModel. The per capita human birth rate was the only independent variable in these experiments; three scenarios were derived by setting the birth rate to 0.03%, 0.0325%, and 0.035% in each respective experiment. When balanced against the default intrinsic human death rate of 0.03, this results in base human population growth rates of 0%, 0.0025%, and 0.005%, with annual stochastic variation of up to 0.001% and the potential for negative population growth when subsistence returns fall below 80% of the annual caloric target. These model data are reported in an article submitted to JCAA in 2025.
