Typical forms and courses of personality development and social conduct as well as occupational training and work habits of young people and young adults depending social factors and social conditions. Topics: General personal orientations: introversion and extroversion; general contentment with life; satisfaction with certain areas of life (scale); life planning and goals in life; life style orientation and private or occupational preferences; social responsibility such as self-respect, community spirit, striving for justice, partner fidelity, readiness for action; personal models; religiousness. Politics and society: political interest; political attitudes such as relationship to Marxism-Leninism, identification with communists, evaluation of future capability of the socialist social system, relationship to the socialist state, relationship to the GDR and the socialist social system, relationship to the FRG and the capitalist social system, relationship to the class enemy, relationship to the enemies of the socialist order; world view; attitude to religion; participation in religious events; membership and participation in the FDJ; individual significance of social-political work; social-political activities; political opinions of parents; influence of parental opinion on personal political opinions; political information; connection between use of FRG or GDR television and FRG or GDR radio and political orientations; knowledge about the statute books of the GDR; participation in the Jugendweihe {ceremony of adulthood}; wearing western symbols. Leisure and culture: leisure behavior; leisure interests; leisure activities and leisure occupations such as belonging to and participation in organized and non-organized leisure groups, cultural and athletic activities; availability and possession of leisure consumer goods; media usage and media habits with radio, TV and daily newspapers; amount of pocket-money; monthly expenditures for selected goods, leisure activities and services; monthly time budget for selected leisure activities and leisure occupations. Occupation training: conduct in choice of occupation regarding desired occupation and restrictions or advice; retrospective evaluation of selected education path or selected vocational training; influence of parental opinion on decision in choice of occupation; occupation interest; occupation attitude and ties to occupation; plans to remain in occupation; training and learning motivation; evaluation of theoretical or practical training conditions; achievement conduct in vocational training; evaluation of theoretical or practical achievement demands; assessment of coping with demands and personal achievement status; work activity: work habits; work attitude; work motivation; models for work habits. Family of origin: family size; number of siblings; position in sibling sequence; relation to parents: general relationship to parents, advice from parents with concerns and problems, differences of opinion with habits in various areas of life; parents relation to siblings.
