JAK1 Inhibition is Sufficient for the Treatment of Granuloma Annulare

Skin punch biopsy sample collected from a patient with generalized granuloma annulare (GA) before or after treatment with oral abrocitinib (200 mg daily) in a 6-month open-label clinical trial. The biopsy was obtained from lesional skin and preserved in Allprotect Tissue Reagent. Total RNA was extracted for transcriptomic profiling using 101 bp paired-end sequencing on an Illumina NovaSeq X Plus platform. The study aimed to assess molecular effects of JAK1 inhibition on disease-related cytokine pathways and gene expression.
