The 1999-2019 biogeochemical reanalysis for the Mediterranean Sea at 1/24 degree is produced by means of the MedBFM model system (i.e. the physical-biogeochemical OGSTM-BFM model coupled with the 3DVarBio assimilation scheme). MedBFM reanalysis, which is produced by OGS, is offline coupled with the CMEMS Med-physics reanalysis and features a weekly assimiliation of surface chlorophyll (i.e., CMEMS-OCTAC satellite data).
