Rocky desertification (RD) is a special form of desertification whose typical appearance is low vegetation coverage rate. While, honeybees which has been highly coevolutionary with plants as their habitat and food resource, could naturally distributed in this rocky desertification habitat. Considering the adaptability of honeybees to widespread distribution and the unique of this ecological environment, whole genome resequencing and classical morphological measurement were conducted to reveals the adaptive evolution of honeybee in karst rocky desertification environment.
