Oral mucosal epithelial cells after treatment of recombinant BMP-2

Monoculture and Co-culture Air-Liquid Interface (ALI) models were performed. TR146 cells were seeded into a transwell insert in a 24-well plate, and hOMFs were seeded in the lower chamber only in the co-culture model. TR146 cells were lifted to an air-liquid interface and the medium was replaced in the lower chamber by differentiation medium with (n=3) or without (n=3) E-rhBMP-2. After 12 days of differentiation, total RNA from the TR146 or hOMF cells was isolated for RNA-seq analyses.
