This dataset includes the full Stata .do file used to replicate the statistical analyses in the manuscript "Trust, Impartiality and Tax Justice in Unequal Democracies: Evidence from Latin America" (Ramírez Gallegos & Irigoyen, 2025). The file draws on the World Values Survey Wave 7 (2017–2022) for ten Latin American countries and includes variable construction, recoding, and full estimation procedures. Key models include probit and ordered probit regressions estimating support for a wealth tax, with clustered standard errors and country fixed effects. We also implement IV-Probit models to address potential endogeneity of institutional trust (measured as an additive index combining trust in courts and police). Trust in media and labor unions are used as instruments. The do-file documents all analytic stages, including robustness checks, graphical outputs, and subgroup estimations by income group. This archive supports full reproducibility of the empirical results presented in the article.
