The Otter Ponds Water Quality Monitoring Program includes field measurements using handheld equipment (i.e., YSI unit) and the collection of water samples analyzed at ALS Global. With the support of Atlantic Water Network, Nova Scotia Woodlot Owners & Operators Association have established four sample locations within the Otter Pond Demonstration Forest area and staff and volunteers have been trained to collect field measurements. Monitoring commenced July 2025.
