Data for Figure 1S: Ecological similarity between land uses (Brazil and global scopes)
收藏资源简介:
Underlying data, literature-derived scoring, and narrative synthesis for Figure 1S, which compares eleven land uses (native/primary forest, secondary forest, eucalyptus, pinus, teak, shaded and full-sun coffee, agroforestry and conventional orange, cotton, soy/corn, managed and degraded pasture) across four ecological dimensions: water, biodiversity, above-ground carbon, and soil carbon (including residence time), using an ordinal-score Gower distance approach. The review was conducted at two scopes: Brazil-specific literature, and global literature (which also adds four reference primary-forest biomes: tropical, subtropical, temperate, boreal). See README.md for file-by-file description and methodological caveats. Produced as supplementary data for an IPAM/Woodwell forest-continuum Policy Forum piece.
