Soil Water Index and freeze/thaw surface flag data set is provided at 1-day temporal resolution, 10 km spatial resolution with global coverage from 2007 to present. The near real time production is on-going at Instituto Português do Mar e da Atmosfera (IPMA. The data are generated from the ASCAT sensor on the MetOp satellite.
