FacebookVideoLive18是由卡塔尔大学工程学院计算机科学系创建的一个大型直播视频数据集，包含了2018年6月和7月从Facebook收集的超过150万条直播流记录。该数据集覆盖了全球的公共直播视频，包括视频的元数据和在线观众的位置信息。创建过程中，研究团队利用Facebook提供的实时地图网站和API，提取了视频ID和各种坐标及元数据。该数据集主要用于研究直播流和观众行为模式，特别是在资源分配、缓存、计算和转码等方面的应用，旨在优化用户的体验质量。

FacebookVideoLive18 is a large-scale live video dataset created by the Department of Computer Science, College of Engineering, Qatar University. It contains over 1.5 million live stream records collected from Facebook in June and July 2018, covering global public live videos along with video metadata and location information of online viewers. During the dataset creation process, the research team extracted video IDs, various coordinates and metadata through the real-time mapping website and API provided by Facebook. This dataset is primarily used for research on live stream and viewer behavior patterns, especially for applications in resource allocation, caching, computing and transcoding, with the aim of optimizing users' quality of experience.
