This statistic presents the total population in the United Arab Emirates in 2018, by gender. In 2018, about 6.3 million of the total population of the UAE were men and 3.1 million were women. This gender imbalance can be attributed to the high number of male immigrants to the UAE as the majority of available jobs are male dominated.
