We investigated the influence of physical and chemical parameters associated with soil aggregates of different sizes (2mm - <0.056mm) on microbial communities. To address this we collected two field soils (Michigan, US), dry sieve the soils, and used the 16S rRNA amplicon sequencing approach (Illumina MiSeq PE250, EMP primer set (515f+806r)).
