Global soil carbon and litter changes

A new framework was applied to estimate the global changes in soil carbon (including fine litter), hereafter referred to as SOCL, as the residual between the net land-atmosphere carbon exchanges from top-down atmospheric inversions and satellite-based vegetation biomass changes. The data of annual changes in SOCL during 2011-2020 were provided in tif format with a spatial resolution of 0.25°. The unit for the map is MgC per hectare per year, and a positive value suggests a sink.
