Inflammatory determinants of differential tuberculosis risk in pre-adolescent children and young adults

The data provided here has been generated to investigate age-associated differences in immune responses of pre-adolescent children and young adults, with and without M. tuberculosis infection, as determined by an interferon-gamma (IFN-γ) release assay. A data compendium is provided that contains a priori soluble analytes that were quantified by Luminex bead arrays in supernatants from unstimulated or Mtb-stimulated whole blood, and mRNA transcripts that were quantified by microfluidic RT-qPCR in cryopreserved PBMC.
