A real photo postcard of a wagon with sugar beets, Hynes, California, USA, postmarked 1910 August 18. The image shows the wagon, attached to four mules in a field, and loaded with sugar beets. One man crouches atop the wagon near the driver's seat and four men, two at left wearing hats that indicate they might be Mexican laborers hold rakes and stand in the field in front of the conveyance. A message on the reverse of the postally used card gives the total of 830 tons of beets on 20 acres at the location, which is now the city of Paramount. To N. M. Bishop, 801 South Tejon Street, Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA, from "Ralph". With a creased corner, light soiling and minor rubbing, the condition is good.
