This dataset includes bulk RNA-Seq data from Yumm5.2 murine melanoma cells with Cdkn2a knockdown, either alone or in combination with Slc39a9 knockdown, cultured in vitro Overall design: Yumm5.2 murine melanoma cells were infected with shRNAs targeting Cdkn2a (hairpins #1 and #2), either alone or in combination with shRNAs targeting Slc39a9 (hairpins #1 and #2). Cdkn2a-targeting shRNAs were cloned into the pLKO.1 vector expressing blasticidin resistance, while Slc39a9-targeting shRNAs were cloned into the pLKO.1 vector expressing puromycin resistance. Infected cells were selected with puromycin and blasticidin for 3 days, after which cells were harvested in Trizol for RNA isolation.
