Cell-free DNA comprises the strand-specific characteristic associated with transcription and methylation

A single-stranded DNA (ssDNA) preparation and sequencing method was employed to simultaneously capture both single- and double-stranded DNA fragments. This approach generaterd plasma cell-free DNA (cfDNA) whole-genome sequencing (WGS) data for 34 healthy individuals (17 males and 17 females). This dataset enables the investigation of cfDNA strand specificity--a novel feature in cfDNA fragmentomics.本研究采用单链DNA（single-stranded DNA，ssDNA）文库制备与测序方法，可同时捕获单链与双链DNA片段。借助该方法，本研究为34名健康个体（含17名男性与17名女性）生成了血浆游离DNA（cell-free DNA，cfDNA）全基因组测序（whole-genome sequencing，WGS）数据。本数据集可用于探究cfDNA链特异性——这是cfDNA片段组学中的一项新兴特征。
