Weed biomass in trials conducted in 2022-2024

Weed biomass (fresh weight) per 0,25 m2 sampling plot.Weed above-ground parts were collected 4-6 weeks after herbicide application in Spring, sorted by species and weighed within 24 hours from collection. Data were collected in 2022-2024 in two farms in Latvia, in two winter wheat fields in each farm. Treatments 1-6 included glyphosate application in stubble before winter wheat sowing (540 g a. i. ha -1 ) 1, 7no selective herbicides2, 8 Flufenacet, 140 g a.i. ha -1 + diflufenican, 140 g a.i. ha -1 Pyroxsulam, 11.328 g a.i. ha -1 + florasulam, 2.384 g a.i. ha-1 Surfactant Dassoil, 0.5 L ha -1 3, 9 Flufenacet, 140 g a.i. ha-1 + diflufenican, 140 g a.i. ha-1 Methyl-halauxifen, 4.69 g a.i. ha-1 + florasulam, 3.75 g a.i. ha -1 4,10 Flufenacet, 140 g a.i. ha -1 + diflufenican, 140 g a.i. ha -1 5,11 Methyl-halauxifen, 6.254 g a.i. ha -1 + florasulam, 5.0 g a.i. ha -1 6, 12 Pyroxsulam, 11.328 g a.i. ha -1 + florasulam, 2.384 g a.i. ha -1 Surfactant Dassoil, 0.5 L ha -1 A separate table contains the data on grain yield (at 14% moisture content) for each treatment (4 replicates) Data was acquired in the project "Sustainable plant protection system – analysis of the current situation, challenges and future solutions" funded by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Latvia (project leader Dr Viktorija Zagorska).
