Portulaca oleracea breed:B01 Transcriptome or Gene expression

In order to gain insights into the response of common purslane (Portulaca oleracea) plants to salinity stress, we completed an RNA-seq study were 13 purslane individuals (young plants - two weeks after germination) were used. Leaves for Total RNA extraction were collected from: a) three plants under salinity stress for one day (Stressed 1 DASI - Days After Stress Initiation); b) three plants under NO salinity stress for one day (Control 1 DASI); c) three plants under salinity stress for four days (Stressed 4 DASI); and d) four plants under NO salinity stress for four days (Control 4 DASI). A total of 1.5 grams of NaCl per 100 grams of soil were used to stress the plants.
