In the current study, two new Co(II)-containing coordination polymers (CPs) with the chemical formulae of {[Co(dimb)2(ndc)3]·2DMF}n (1) and {[Co2((R)-CBA)2(dimb)2](H2O)}n (2) have been successfully prepared by reaction of the N-donor ligand 1,3-di(1H-imidazol-1-yl)benzene (dimb) with the Co(NO3)2·6H2O and the different carboxylate ligands (1,4-naphthalenedicarboxylic acid (H2ndc) for 1 and 4-(1-carboxyethoxy)benzoic acid (H2CBA ) for 2). Furthermore, the treatment effect of compounds 1 and 2 on the cardiac arrest induced by anesthesia was evaluated in the biological functional study. Firstly, the cardiac arrest-cardiopulmonary resuscitation animal model was constructed and compounds 1 and 2 were given for treatment at serious concentrations. The content of cardiac troponin T and B brain natriuretic peptide was measured with ELISA detection kit, and the RT-PCR was performed to detect the relative expression level of the Sirt1 in the rat myocardial tissue after compounds treatment.
