资源简介:
High-latitude Input for Meso-scale Electrodynamics: HIME, is a new framework that is developed to account for the local meso-scale electric field variability in a global I-T model, so that their role during certain intervals and locations can be analyzed. This data set consists of local 2D electric field estimates from PFISR (provided in 20170302.002_lp_1min-cal_2dVEF_001001_NoLonely-geo600km.h5), and HIME generated drivers. These drivers were generated by first calculating the electric potentials with Forward Euler formula from PFISR estimates and through their merging with a global empirical model (in this case Weimer model) to specify upper boundary conditions for a global I-T model (in this case University of Michigan Global Ionosphere Thermosphere Model). More information on HIME can be found in the accompanying article.
