The effects of 4T1 breast cancer transplantation in the bone marrow in mice

Cancers adversely affect host organs and cells, disrupting host homeostasis. Yet, how cancer cells affect distant organs is still incompletely understood. In this study, we exploited transcriptome analyses to understand how 4T1 breast cancer cells, one of the most commonly used mouse cancer models, in the bone marrow. We analyze the bone marrow from sham and 4T1-bearing mice (14 days after transplantation) and characterize gene expression changes caused by 4T1 transplantation.
