Ideological Estimates of the Chilean Chamber of Deputies, 2002–2026

This dataset contains roll-call vote records and ideological estimates for members of the Chilean Chamber of Deputies, covering six legislative periods from 2002 to 2026. The raw data consist of roll-call votes on bills presented in plenary sessions, obtained from the official website of the Chamber (www.camara.cl). The dataset includes ideological estimates generated using three methods: DW-NOMINATE, a Bayesian ideal point model (via the pscl package), and a dynamic estimation model (via the emIRT package). The data are provided in both long and wide formats and include additional metadata for each legislator, such as gender, date of birth, and party affiliation per period. This dataset supports research on political representation, polarization, and legislative behavior in a Latin American context.
