RNA-sequencing analysis of db/db mice dorsal wounds treated with polarized macrophages conditioned media or control loaded bandages

We utilized bulk RNA-seq to profile the mRNA expression in day 10 wounds of db/db mice treated with control alginate bandages or bandages containing conditioned media from M0, M1, M2a and M2c polarized macrophages Full thickness 6mm punch biopsy wounds were inflicted on the back of 16-week old male db/db mice. Immediately after injury, control alginate bandages or bandages containing conditioned media from M0 (CM0), M1 (CM1), M2a (CMA) or M2c (CMC) polarized primary macrophages were applied on the wounds. The bandages were replenished on Day 3 and tissue was collected on Day 10 post-wounding for downstream analyses. mRNA profiles from back skin wounds of control treated db/db mice (n=6), CM0 (n=4), CM1 (n=4), CMA (n=5) and CMC (n=5) were examined.
