Samples for the BROCTIO (Bentonite-ROCk interacTIOn) project of the KYT (Kansallinen Ydinjätehuollon Tutkimusohjelma) research program. These samples contain natural clay filled fractures and were investigated with several different methods, like SEM, XRD, and hyperspectral imaging, to gather a database of natural rock-clay interfaces and develop methods in fracture characterization.
