Estimating Modal Mineralogy using Raman Spectroscopy: Multivariate Analysis Models and Raman Cross-Section Proxies

This dataset provides Raman spectra of 20 pure minerals, 18 diamond-mineral mixtures, and a large suite of binary mineral-mineral mixtures. All spectra were baseline corrected using AirPLS. Associated metadata (e.g., volume% of each component) are also linked to each spectrum. The compositional data of the 20 pure minerals that comprise the dataset are provided as probe data (EMPA). We also provide model details, predictions, and error values for two quantitative Raman techniques (PLS and Raman cross-section proxies).
