Functional insights into pollen-associated microbiota in Phoenix dactylifera

This study focuses on transcriptomic profiling of pollen powder from Phoenix dactylifera (date palm) to explore the role of transcriptionally active microbiota associated with pollen physiology. Total RNA was extracted from pollen samples and subjected to high-throughput RNA sequencing (RNA-Seq). The resulting data provide insights into the transcriptionally active microbial community present in pollen and its potential influence on pollen development and function. This dataset contributes to understanding the interactions between date palm pollen and associated microbiota at the molecular level.
