Microbiome profiling of fecal transplant and activated charcoal treatment during uninterrupted systemic administration of ceftriaxone in a mouse model

C57BL/6 mice received intraperitoneal ceftriaxone for 7 consecutive days, followed by treatment with AC, FMT, FMT + AC, FF, or FF + AC via oral gavage. Gut microbiomes were analyzed using 16S rRNA sequencing, and intestinal mucosal pathology was evaluated through H&E staining.
