Single cell analysis in mouse tissues after Tie2 or Tie1Tie2 deletion

To analyze genetic changes in arterial, pulmonary and bone marrow cells during atherosclerosis development We analyzed total aortic, pulmonary and bone marrow cells from arterial Tie2 (or Tie1/Tie2) deleted mice during atheroclerosis development. For total aortic cells and total bone marrow cells from Tie2-deleted mice, the analysis was done after 4 weeks since the start of high-fat (western) diet feeding the mice. For analysis of total cells from the lung we used mice with combined simultaneous deletion of both Tie1 and Tie2, and high-fat (western) diet feeding has lasted for 20 weeks.
