The environmental bottom data layers behind the FORCOAST service module A3 is generated by the 3D FlexSem model consisting of a hydrodynamic model coupled to the biogeochemical model ERGOM. The original data is on an unstructured grid (varying size of polygons), but for this purpose the data was interpolated to a structured grid and converted to netcdf files. The data layers are:
1) bottom temperature
2) bottom salinity
3) bottom Chl a
4) resuspension of detritus
5) bottom oxygen
6) bottom detritus
