Dataset on traditional land-use practices and socioecological attributes of Kalunga Quilombola communities in the Brazilian Cerrado

This dataset contains primary socioecological data collected in Kalunga Quilombola communities located in the Brazilian Cerrado. The data document traditional land-use systems, agricultural practices, and landscape management strategies developed by local households, as well as associated social and environmental attributes. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews, participant observation, and field-based assessments conducted between 2021-2022. Variables include information on cropping systems, land management practices, temporal use of landscapes, household-level attributes, and selected ecological indicators relevant to traditional agroecosystems. The dataset is intended to support interdisciplinary research on traditional ecological knowledge, socioecological resilience, and conservation in culturally managed landscapes. All data were anonymized and aggregated to prevent identification of individuals or households, in accordance with ethical research protocols and community agreements.
