Prefectural order for the protection of biotopes. In order to prevent the disappearance of animal or plant species protected by law, the Prefect of the Department may, by order, take measures to conserve biotopes such as ponds, marshes, swamps, heaths, dunes, groves, hedges, lawns and any unexploited natural formation by man in so far as these biotopes are necessary for the reproduction, feeding, resting and survival of protected species.
