Finnish Translation of SSQ-P

SSQ-P Finnish Translation is a translation made from English into Finnish language of the questionnaire "The Speech, Spatial, and Qualities of Hearing Scale (SSQ) for Parents of Children with Impaired Hearing". Associate Professor Karyn Galvin, The University of Melbourne, has modified the SSQ-P (described here: DOI: 10.1179/1754762812Y.0000000014) from the adult SSQ which was developed by William Noble and Stuart Gatehouse (https://doi.org/10.1080/14992020400050014 and https://doi.org/10.1080/14992020400050015). Assoc. Prof. Galvin has authorized Kerttu Huttunen and Anna Kiviniemi-Pulli to translate the questionnaire into Finnish. Standard procedure of forward-backward translation has been conducted with translations made into the native language of the translations. Language revision agency was used in making the back translation. A three-member expert group has compared the original English version with the back translation.
