This dataset provides information for evaluating the efficiency of open government data (OGD) utilization and analyzing its influencing factors across 108 Chinese cities. Most of the data were obtained through quantitative and qualitative analyses conducted by the author via an online survey of municipal OGD portals between January and March 2024. Additional socioeconomic and demographic data were sourced from government statistical reports and yearbooks.
