COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS OF MANUAL TESTING AND AUTOMATION TESTING IN TESTING MERCHANT INFORMATION SYSTEMS OPEN DATA

This dataset supports the research entitled “Comparative Analysis of Manual Testing and Automation Testing in Testing Merchant Information Systems.” The dataset contains testing data and results obtained from the evaluation of a Merchant Information System within a fintech/payment gateway environment. The research compares manual testing and automation testing using Python and Selenium to evaluate differences in testing execution efficiency and performance. The dataset includes test cases covering several functional modules of the Merchant Information System, including Authentication, Team Management, Account Management, Payment Link, Virtual Account, QRIS, E-Wallet, and Disbursement. The data contains information related to test case execution, testing methods, execution results, execution time, and comparative testing outcomes. A total of 54 test cases were evaluated using both manual and automated testing approaches. The dataset is provided to support the analysis presented in the thesis and to improve the transparency and reproducibility of the research findings. The data may be used by researchers, students, software testers, and practitioners interested in software testing, test automation, Selenium-based testing, fintech information systems, and comparative testing methodologies.
