Code and data for: Fixed versus tracking PV arrays for off-grid household PV–battery and PV–battery–diesel systems in western Iraq: a multi-year techno-economic assessment
收藏资源简介:
This record contains the Python code, input data and result tables that reproduce all figures and tables of the article “Fixed versus tracking PV arrays for off-grid household PV–battery and PV–battery–diesel systems in western Iraq: a multi-year techno-economic assessment” (submitted to Renewable Energy). Hourly PV output for fixed-tilt arrays and four tracker types at Ramadi, Al-Qaim and Rutba was simulated with pvlib using PVGIS-SARAH3 data (typical meteorological year and 2005–2023 hourly series), cross-validated against six PVsyst V8.1.2 reports, and coupled with a battery and diesel dispatch model for cost-optimal sizing. The archive includes the PVGIS input files, the PVsyst report extracts, all simulation and analysis scripts, and the result tables. README.md gives the run order and the modelling choices.
