The C-MAPSS dataset, provided by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), is widely adopted for evaluating model performance in predicting the Remaining Useful Life (RUL) of turbofan engines. The dataset is split into training and test subsets: the training data includes full lifecycle sensor records spanning the entire failure progression of each engine, while the test set only provides the RUL values corresponding to the final operating cycle of every individual engine.
