Share of cardiac arrest cases in Sweden 2018, by cause

The majority, 59 percent, of all cardiac arrest cases in Sweden in 2018 was due to heart disease. The second most common cause was lung disease, which accounted for 6.4 percent of the cases. 3.2 percent of the cases were due to accidents.
