Land Surface Temperature (LST) Dataset – MOD11A1 v061 (June–August 2023), Region of Attica (From National Observatory of Athens)

This archive contains Land Surface Temperature (LST) data provided by the National Observatory of Athens (NOA) for the Region of Attica. The dataset covers the summer period (June–August 2023) and is based on the MODIS MOD11A1 Version 061 product with a spatial resolution of 1 km. The zip file includes: Raw LST data as received from NOA Intermediate transformed datasets, including preprocessing steps such as reprojection, clipping to the Region of Attica, and formatting for analysis Final processed LST rasters used as input in the wildfire and heat-related risk assessment workflows The LST dataset was used to characterize surface temperature conditions during the summer of 2023 and to support hazard modeling and susceptibility analysis. All transformations ensured spatial alignment with the official administrative boundary of the Region of Attica and harmonization with other raster layers used in the project.
