ZJ-DAT: High-Resolution Daily Air Temperature Dataset for Zhejiang Province (1991–2020)

This Zenodo repository contains the ZJ-DAT high-resolution daily near-surface air temperature dataset for Zhejiang Province, China, covering the period 1991–2020. The dataset provides daily minimum (Tmin), mean (Tmean), and maximum (Tmax) air temperature fields at an approximate spatial resolution of 1 km. Daily temperature fields were reconstructed using a climatology–anomaly interpolation framework optimized for complex terrain, with inverse distance weighting identified as the most suitable interpolation method for Zhejiang Province. Temperature data are distributed as yearly `.7z` archives, with separate files for each temperature variable. This dataset represents the second temporal segment of the ZJ-DAT dataset series. The companion dataset covering the period 1961–1990 is archived in a separate Zenodo record (doi:10.5281/zenodo.18092323). Together, the two datasets provide a continuous 60-year (1961–2020) high-resolution daily air temperature record for Zhejiang Province. The data were split into two Zenodo records solely due to repository file number and storage constraints.
