We tested the effects of dynamic cell culture environments in stirred bioreactors (STR) using human kidney organoids. Enhanced glomerular vascularization was observed. Human kidney organoids were differentiated from pluripotent stem cells by our previously published protocol in static culture (Morizane, Nature Biotechnology, 2015). Day 14 organoids were transferred to stirred bioreactors and cultured for three weeks.
